HEAVY DUTY TIRES & LARGE FOOTPLATE:

The Jazzy 1450 comes with large 14" knobby tires that are also 4" wide.  This gives this power chair the ability to go through high grass and tackle tougher terrains than any other chair on the market today.  It also comes with 9" rear caster wheels and 4" front anti-tip wheels for added stability and support. 

For added comfort, this power chair also has an extra large footplate that is 12" x 14".  It is heavy duty, made of all metal, and flips up, making it easier to get in and out of the unit.  The armrests on this unit are adjustable as well.  You can flip them up, making it easier to get in and out of the unit .  Plus, they are also extendable outward, giving the user more of a seating area and added comfort.  Please note that on heavy-duty models, the armrests are designed to provide maximum stability and support, and therefore cannot be flipped up.
