Ella's Bubble TransferXXXL - Wheelchair Accessible Walk-In Bathtub with Dual Drain (36"W x 55"L)
The Ella Acrylic Walk-in Tubs are crafted using a durable acrylic sheet through the process of vacuum forming. Its non-porous, white gloss finish is both easy to clean and resistant to mold and mildew. The tub's structure is reinforced with a rust-proof, stainless steel frame and multiple layers of fiberglass mesh and gelcoat, ensuring its durability. The frame also features adjustable leveling legs for a more convenient installation and additional support.
The key feature of Ella’s TransferXXXL Walk-In Tubs is the aluminum L-Shape Outward Swing Door. Originally created for wheelchair and mobility users, it has gained popularity among everyday users for its effortless entry into the tub. The unique shape and engineering of the outward swing allow the door to easily clear a 21” tall toilet, creating a wide entry for seamless transition from wheelchair to the smooth acrylic seat. A sleek rubber handle attached to the inside panel aids in closing the door.
The Ella Bubble TransferXXXL features the exclusive Ella Dual Drain Technology (DDT), which consists of two 2” gravity-driven drains, four 2” outlets, 2 overflows, and 2 openers for fast and reliable drainage. Two included caps can cover up to 2 of 4 ports if necessary. A professional plumber can connect the 2” drain outlets to a standard 1 ½” household drain with a T or Y fitting and chosen piping. The homeowner or plumber has the flexibility to select the drain pipe configuration and materials, but it is recommended to connect to all 4 ports and a 2” household drain for optimal drainage efficiency.
Innovative design allows Ella brand drains to drain quickly, even when connected to a 1 ½" house drain with a T or Y fitting. This is achieved by pushing air through the 2 overflows, creating a vent system that reduces the amount of air bubbles and allows for a smooth flow of water. As a result, our walk-in bathtub boasts the fastest gravity-driven drain in the industry, with an average drainage time of only 50 seconds to a few minutes, depending on tub size, house drain condition, and configurations.
