18,000 BTU, 22.9 SEER
The ES-18Z-M2B 18,000 BTU ACiQ multi-zone condenser is specifically designed to support up to two air handlers at 1.25 times the condenser's BTU rating (22,500 BTU total). This adaptive, inverter condenser constantly adjusts to maintain precise temperatures in each room or zone. By setting different temperatures for each room, and turning off heating and cooling in unused areas, you can save money with its high efficiency rating of 22.9 SEER2. Note that while the condenser comes pre-charged, it does not have quick connect line set connectors and cannot be self-installed. You will need a professional to add refrigerant and vacuum the lines as necessary. Material for installation, such as line sets and control wire, is not included but can be purchased separately in the Accessories section. Keep in mind that a minimum of two air handlers is necessary for all multi-zone ACiQ condensers to function properly
Installation and Maintenance
The ACiQ Multi Zone Condenser is equipped with R410-A pre-charged refrigerant for a 25' air handler connection, eliminating the need for additional refrigerant in most cases. Each unit undergoes thorough testing at the factory to ensure reliable performance for years to come. With a self-diagnosing control board, troubleshooting is a simple task and alerts are sent to connected air handlers for easy monitoring.
